Lash-Protecting Silk Masks

Nothing touches your lashes

Extensions come off overnight, not during the day. Moulded eye cavities keep the fabric off your lash line while still blocking light completely.

3D Moulded · 22 Momme · Oeko-Tex

Lash extensions come off overnight, not during the day. The weight of your head presses them flat against the pillow for hours, the fabric drags on them every time you shift, and the adhesive bonds give way.

A flat sleep mask makes that worse rather than better — it sits directly on the lash line and holds them down all night. These don't. Every mask below has genuine moulded cavities over each eye, so nothing touches your lashes.

If you've been told masks are bad for extensions, that advice is right about flat masks and wrong about contoured ones. The shape is what matters, not the concept.

What a lash-safe mask needs

  • Real moulded cavities, deep enough that the fabric doesn't touch your lashes. Plenty of flat masks are marketed as lash-friendly. Press one to your face — if you feel it on your lashes, it isn't.
  • Silk against the skin, both sides. Lower friction means less drag on the extensions and less stress on the bonds. Cotton is the worst offender.
  • An adjustable strap. A mask that slides out of position at 3am isn't protecting anything.
  • Proper blackout. If you're wearing it anyway it should do the light job properly — that's what momme weight determines.

Ours are 22 momme mulberry silk, Oeko-Tex certified, with adjustable straps and moulded eye cups.

What we won't claim

You'll find brands claiming a lash mask doubles your retention, or that people lose 30–40% more extensions without one. We can't trace those numbers to anything independent — they come from companies selling lash masks. We're not going to repeat them.

What we will say is the mechanism: compression, friction and bending damage extensions, and a contoured mask removes all three. How much that extends your set depends on how you sleep, the adhesive your technician used, and your own lash cycle. The full explanation is in how to sleep with eyelash extensions.

Designed in the UK by Dozzz. For anything specific to your own set — especially the first 24 hours after application — your lash technician is a better source than we are.
